All our dives include tanks and weights. Shore dives include gear, but boat dives do not. You can rent gear for $25 a day. We also have nitrox available for $13 per tank. Wetsuits are not necessary but can be rented for $10 per day.
All our prices are listed below. There are no hidden fees. Boat diving does not include scuba gear rental, but shore dives do.
Please note that if you dive in Cozumel Marine Park (Arrecifes de Cozumel), there is a $13 per-person, per-day fee. You will pay this fee in USD cash at the current exchange rate. The National Park Fees were increased on 1/1/2026.

Boat Dives
Enjoy 2 boat dives on Cozumel's beautiful reefs. Your first dive may be the Yucab Reef. After a relaxing surface interval enjoying some fresh fruit, we'll head to another spot. Your second dive will be the captain’s choice, guaranteed to be teeming with tropical fish, lobsters and moray eels. You might even spot a hawksbill or loggerhead turtle!

Shore Dives
We offer shore dives with an experienced divemaster for those who lack time or don't like boat dives. On this dive you will explore our house reef and also be able to see our coral reef restoration project. There's plenty to see and enjoy.

Night Dives
Live the experience of night diving and discover a whole new world inside the reef. The experience starts from the shore of our house reef and little by little we dive into the darkness of the seabed up to 30 ft deep, our professional instructors will guide you through the hidden diversity of the night reef.

Important Information for all divers!
- Certified divers must present a valid certification “C” card to participate. Tank and weights are included for all divers; a wetsuit is not included. Guests with concerns should consult their personal physician before engaging in any strenuous activity.
- Please consult our medical waiver for specific questions regarding health restrictions. If a “yes” answer is required for any question, you must have a written letter from a medical physician authorizing you to participate in a diving activity. Sand Dollar Sports reserves the right on any final decision regarding your ability to dive. Click here to download waiver.
- All sunscreens are prohibited at our location, and rash guards are strongly recommended.
- The price does not include the “Cozumel Marine Park” fee. All national park fees were increased to $13 on January 1, 2026.

No, you don’t need certification to try scuba diving. Our Discover Scuba Diving program is perfect for beginners, allowing you to experience diving with an instructor in shallow waters. However, certified divers can explore Cozumel’s deeper and more advanced dive sites.
What is the best time of year for scuba diving in Cozumel?
Cozumel offers year-round diving with excellent visibility (up to 100 feet). The best conditions are from November to April, with calm seas and warm waters. However, the summer months offer great marine life encounters, including nurse sharks and eagle rays.
How deep are the dives?
Depths vary by dive site:
- Shore dives: 20-30 feet (6-10 meters)
- Boat dives: 40-80 feet (12-24 meters) for recreational dives
- Advanced sites: Up to 100+ feet (30+ meters)
What marine life can I see while diving in Cozumel?
