Cozumel Scuba Diving Is Awesome

Our Scuba Services

We offer boat diving, shore diving, and night diving. All our dives include tanks and weights. Scuba gear can be rented for $20 per day. We also have nitrox available for $10 per tank.


Wetsuits are not necessary but can be rented for $10 per day. When you book your dives with us you are contributing to the preservation of our coral reefs. We donate to the Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration Program.

Boat Dives

Enjoy 2 boat dives in Cozumel's beautiful Marine Park. Your first dive will be the Yucab Reef. After a relaxing surface interval enjoying some fresh fruit, we'll head to another spot. Your second dive will be the captain’s choice, guaranteed to be teeming with tropical fish, lobsters and moray eels. You might even spot a hawksbill or loggerhead turtle!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Open Water Diver
  • 10 years of age
  • We will need to check your logbook if you have not dived in the past 2 years.

2 tank boat dive

Shore Dives

We offer shore dives with an experienced divemaster for those who lack time or don't like boat dives. On this dive you will explore our house reef and also be able to see our coral reef restoration project. There's plenty to see and enjoy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Open Water Diver
  • 10 years of age

Night Dives

Live the experience of night diving and discover a whole new world inside the reef. The experience starts from the shore of our house reef and little by little we dive into the darkness of the seabed up to 30 ft deep, our professional instructors will guide you through the hidden diversity of the night reef.

Dive Packages

Take advantage of our dive packages if you will be diving several days! You can choose to dive from the shore or 2 two dives on the boat.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Open Water Diver
  • 10 years of age

  • 2 day – 2 tank boat dive – $215
  • 3 day – 2 tank boat dive – $321
  • 4 day – 2 tank boat dive – $420
  • 5 day – 2 tank boat dive – $510
  • Scuba Gear Rental is an extra $20 per day.
  • Wetsuit rental is $10 per day.
Take Advantage of our Scuba Tuneup!

All guests who purchased one of our Dive Packages are given the opportunity to do a “Scuba Tune Up” dive on our house reef for $5. This will help all who haven’t dived in a while refresh their skills.

Important Information for all divers!
  • Certified divers must present a valid certification “C” card to participate. Tank and weights are included for all divers, wetsuit is not included. Guests who have concerns should consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them.
  • Please consult our medical waiver for specific questions regarding health restrictions. If a “yes” answer is required for any question you must have a written letter from a medical physician authorizing you to participate in a diving activity. Sand Dollar Sports reserves the right on any final decision regarding your ability to dive. Click here to download waiver.
  • All sunscreens are prohibited at our location and rash guards are strongly recommended.
  • Price does not include “Cozumel Marine Park” fee which is $5.00 USD per person per day for each diver.
Please obey the rules and do not:
  • Stand on or take hold of the coral reefs.
  • Fish for, collect or disturb any marine organism (fish, coral, shells, winkles, starfish etc).
  • Use sunblock or suntan oil that is not biodegradable.
  • Carry spears, hooks, harpoons or explosives.
  • Carry gloves or knives (dive professionals may register to carry such items).
  • Disturb or remove fauna and flora from their refuges.
  • Feed any fish or animal.
  • Dispose of any kind of solid waste.
  • Dump fuel, grease, oil or any other liquid substance.
