Coral Lab
We started a coral lab at our center in partnership with CCRRP to study corals and diseases affecting them.
Coral Gardening
We work in conjunction with CCRRP to plant more corals on coral platforms. Many of the corals are grown from broken coral pieces found on dive sites.
Tending to Coral
Students and Interns with CCRRP continually surveil and care for the coral platforms. They are checked for disease and cleaned of algae.Â
Internships
CCRRP offers 2 – 4 month-long student placements throughout the year. They also offer long-term volunteering opportunities for recent marine biology graduates.
