Discover Scuba Diving (1 Shore Dive + 1 Boat Dive)

Our Discover Scuba Diving course is designed for the non-certified diver. After receiving 25 minutes of instruction and orientation from a PADI instructor, you will be fitted with full scuba gear and enter the water directly from the beach. A few minutes are spent in waist-deep water for you to get used to breathing underwater. You will then head out with the instructor, who will guide you in the exploration of this new and amazing world of fish and coral. The dive site reaches a maximum depth of 20 feet. Enjoy your second dive by boat at “Arrecifes de Cozumel” National Marine Park, known for its spectacular coral formations. Minimum age is 10 years old.

What to Bring

  • Cash or credit cards for photo or boutique purchases.
  • Sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and a rash guard. All sunscreens are considered pollutants and are not allowed.
  • Bathing suit, loose-fitting clothing, or a change of clothes for post activity.

Important Notes

  • Some health restrictions do apply. You must create a PADI account and fill out the online Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire before coming.
  • Sand Dollar Sports reserves the right on any final decision regarding your ability to dive.
  • Minimum age is 10 years old.
  • Price does not include the โ€œCozumel Marine Parkโ€ fee. All national park fees were increased to $14 on January 1, 2026.ย 
  • Gratuities not included. Tips are shared among all staff who help make your dives possible.
