Tour Highlights:
- Join us for an immersive experience into coral reproduction and restoration! Our experts will start with a brief introduction to the fascinating world of coral spawning and the efforts to restore coral reefs. You’ll have the chance to observe coral spawning up close at our shore-side aquarium and engage in hands-on activities, assisting with various restoration projects based on current needs.
- Following the aquarium session, your guides will lead you on a snorkel tour of our coral gardens. Here, you’ll witness coral transplanting, gathering, and identification firsthand. Depending on the needs of the area, you may also have the opportunity to participate in beach clean-up efforts.
- After your time in the coral reef restoration program, unwind and relax on the beach. Enjoy delicious local food and drinks at our on-site restaurant and bar (at your own expense). Our guides and coral restoration team will be available for any additional questions you may have.
- We donate a portion of your tour fee to the Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration Program, a local NGO, which enables them to continue their vital work in replenishing coral reefs and educating others about ocean conservation.
- All participants will receive a “Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration” certificate of participation to acknowledge your contribution.
